The SMD3, the departmental mixed syndicate for waste in Dordogne, launched its "Astro-Tri" communication campaign at the start of 2026, blending astrology and sorting practices to promote ecological transition.

This autumn, the campaign highlights the Scorpio sign, associated with papers and packaging to be sorted. Following the signs of Pisces (plastics), Taurus (coffee capsules), Cancer (picnic packaging), and Leo (bathroom packaging), Scorpio encourages reading and sorting newspapers and papers. The main instruction is "all papers and packaging are sorted."
With this fifth visual, SMD3 continues its playful approach to simplify good sorting habits. The campaign aims to raise awareness among the residents of Dordogne about the importance of recycling correctly.
The "Astro-Tri" campaign is visible on 2m² panels and bus shelters in Périgueux and Bergerac. It is also broadcast on radio stations Wit FM and Ici Périgord, as well as on SMD3's social media and official website.
