On October 13-14, 2026, Nontron will host the Mental Health Awareness Weeks, featuring photo exhibitions and film screenings.

As part of the national Mental Health Awareness Weeks (SISM), several local organizations are collaborating to present two days dedicated to mental health in Nontron. This year's theme, 'Art is good for mental health,' aims to bring the topic into public discourse.
On Tuesday, October 13, starting at 6:30 PM, the Nontron community hall will open its doors for a gourmet vernissage of three photo exhibitions focusing on the artistic reappropriation of self-image. This will be followed at 8:30 PM by a film discussion centered on the documentary « Sur l’Adamant » by Nicolas Philibert.
The following day, Wednesday, October 14, at 3:00 PM, the Louis Delluc cinema will screen the film « Les rêveurs » by Isabelle Carré. The screening will be followed by a discussion over homemade snacks in the community hall, where the exhibitions will remain freely accessible until 6:00 PM.
These events are organized by Oxy’GEM 24, DITEP Périgord Vert, La Place aux Soins, the Fraisiers network, Clic-Clac Nontron, La Sauce Paysanne, and Cinéma Louis Delluc.
