The Communauté de Communes Médoc Estuaire is launching a public consultation on its Territorial Climate Air Energy Plan (PCAET) 2026-2032, inviting residents to contribute to the territory's ecological transition until November 15.

The Communauté de Communes Médoc Estuaire is seeking public input for the development of its ecological transition strategy, the Territorial Climate Air Energy Plan (PCAET) 2026-2032. This initiative aims to set the territory's objectives for mitigating the impact of climate change, improving air quality, valuing local resources, and reducing energy consumption.
The public consultation will take place electronically from October 16 to November 15 inclusive. Citizen participation is considered essential as the PCAET will serve as the action guide for the next six years, covering areas such as transport, housing, agriculture, and renewable energies. Residents and local stakeholders are encouraged to inform themselves, share their ideas and proposals to enrich the process and contribute to public policies that align with their realities.
The complete PCAET file is available online 24/7 from October 16, as well as in paper version at the Community of Communes headquarters in Arsac (26 rue de l’abbé Frémont) from Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 12 PM. The file includes the diagnosis, orientations and strategies, environmental report, and opinions from the prefecture and MRAE.
Feedback and proposals can be submitted via email to .dev.territorial@medoc-estuaire.fr, by postal mail addressed to Madame la Présidente at the Arsac address, or directly on the paper register available at the Community of Communes headquarters.
Following the consultation, a comprehensive summary of all contributions will be compiled and published on the Community of Communes' website. The observations will be forwarded to the steering teams to adjust priorities and actions of the plan if necessary, before final adoption by the Community Council.
