On Thursday, October 15th, CM1/CM2 students in Serres-Castet participated in electing their 6 representatives (3 girls and 3 boys) to the Children's Municipal Council (CME) for the 2026-2027 term. The campaign statements of the 15 candidates, written with the help of Jérôme Boudin, an animator at the leisure center, were displayed in the primary schoolyard.
At 5 PM, the vote count was opened to the public. The Mayor, accompanied by Nathalie Deluga (Deputy Mayor for School/After-School/Childhood Affairs), Éloise Boulière (Municipal Councilor in charge of the CME), and Axelle Marc (co-president of the APE), proceeded with the count and announcement of the results. Several students and some parents were present.
Out of 103 eligible voters this year, 103 cast their ballots, with 93 valid votes and 10 invalid votes. The results determined the 3 girls and 3 boys elected to represent the CM1 class.
The CM1 students elected last year will continue their mandate for an additional year as CM2 representatives. These are BIDZOGO Elie-Lewi, BRIGARD Gabin, BRUGEROLLES Mathis, CLEMENT Louise, GALATI Mathilde, and PRIGENT Tess.
The first Children's Municipal Council meeting for this new term will be held on Wednesday, November 4th, 2026, at 6:00 PM.
