The agenda for the upcoming session of the Barsac Municipal Council, scheduled for Tuesday, September 29 at 7:30 PM in the council chamber of the Town Hall, has been released. Several important topics will be addressed.
Among the items on the agenda are subsidy requests. Specifically, the council will consider equipping schools with ceiling fans under the 2026 EDF Cooling Grant, and funding for a feasibility study for phase n°2 of the cycle paths, supported by European funds.
The creation of non-permanent positions will also be discussed, stemming from a temporary increase in activity and a seasonal increase in activity. The council will also address the implementation of the tax on vacant residential properties.
Communal subsidies for associations for the year 2026 will be reviewed, along with exceptional grants for the ABS Festival 2026, the association INES, and ART’IMAGE BARSAC.
Finally, the report on collective sanitation services for 2025 will be presented, and a miscellaneous question postponed from August 31, 2026, will be discussed.
