Nearly 40 participants gathered in Bègles for the "Integration Meetings" of the Southern Bordeaux Railway Developments (AFSB). The morning allowed for a review of initiated actions and strengthening collaborations between construction companies and local inclusive structures.

Organized by A.DE.LE. - PLIE des Graves, with the support of SNCF Réseau, this event highlighted significant progress in professional integration related to the railway works. Since the start of construction, AFSB has been promoting access to employment through integration clauses in company contracts.
The presented assessment shows a positive dynamic: over 70,000 integration hours were completed between January 2023 and June 2026, representing more than half of the target for the entire project. In total, over 150 people have benefited from this initiative, through 217 signed contracts and the involvement of 50 companies across 36 markets.

"These exchanges helped to raise awareness of locally available skills, identify company needs, and foster new partnerships."

The morning also featured speakers from the field sharing their experiences. The 14 inclusive structures present then presented their activities and support solutions before engaging in speed meetings with companies.
With over 80,000 potential additional integration hours by 2032, the coming years offer a new opportunity to enhance the impact of the AFSB project on local employment. Several priorities were identified: diversifying proposed professions, developing training and skills enhancement, promoting access to sustainable employment, and encouraging local recruitment.
Beyond modernizing the railway network, AFSB thus contributes to the economic and social development of the territory, thanks to the collective commitment of SNCF Réseau, companies, and integration partners.
