On the occasion of the 2026 National Air Quality Day, Atmo Nouvelle-Aquitaine is participating in two events in October, one in Lagord (17) and the other in Bordeaux (33). These meetings aim to discuss air quality, its effects on health, and available action levers.
The National Air Quality Day (JNQA), held annually since 2015, invites citizens, local authorities, associations, companies, and schools to inform themselves and act to preserve air quality. In 2026, the national event takes place on October 14, with events organized across France until October 23. Atmo Nouvelle-Aquitaine is joining this regional mobilization.
On October 14, a morning of conferences and discussions will be held in Lagord, near La Rochelle, on the theme "Air, Health, Habitat: understanding better to breathe better". Atmo Nouvelle-Aquitaine will participate in the discussions alongside the University of La Rochelle, GHT 17, APPA, TIPEE, the association SOUFFLE 17, and ATLANTECH. The event will take place from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Lab’in Tech – Campus CESI, rue Isabelle Autissier, in Lagord. Registration is mandatory.
The following day, on October 15, Atmo Nouvelle-Aquitaine will be present in Bordeaux for the Air Quality Technical Day, organized by Soltena.
