The traditional Blue Week is evolving and becoming the Intergenerational Week of Créonnais. Organized by the CIAS and the CDC du Créonnais in collaboration with local stakeholders, this initiative will take place from Monday, October 5 to Saturday, October 10, 2026, across the entire territory. The goal is to strengthen the bond between generations through a rich, festive, and entirely free program.
For six days, the municipalities of Créonnais will offer a multitude of activities: shared meals in canteens with children in several towns (Baron, Créon, Haux, La Sauve Majeure, Sadirac), a POCLI exhibition at the Résidence Autonomie de Créon, a Ciné-Goûter (Film and Snack) at the Cinéma Max Linder, creative and sensory workshops in Le Pout and Sadirac, shows and remembrance times at Baron and the Ancienne Gare de La Sauve Majeure, as well as digital workshops and games at Capian and the Point Jeunes Léo Lagrange Animation in Créon.
A highlight will be the conference « Bien Vivre à Domicile » (Living Well at Home) on Wednesday, October 7, 2026, at 6 PM, at the CDC premises in Créon (5 chemin de la Douve). This event is for seniors, caregivers, and the curious, to discover local solutions for safe home living, meeting territorial actors who offer financial support, housing adaptation, psychological assistance, and convivial visits.
This event is the result of a collective synergy involving numerous local partners such as Léo Lagrange Animation, the Ludothèque Kaléidoscope, the Département de la Gironde, Terre & Océan, the Cinéma Max Linder, the MONALISA network, the EHPAD La Pelou, the CCAS de Créon, libraries, and the town halls of the territory.
