Gironde : des consultations pneumologiques avancées pour les patients prioritaires

ARS Nouvelle-Aquitaine (Agence Régionale de Santé)

Since September 21, pneumologists from the Bordeaux University Hospital have been providing advanced consultations in Le Porge, Gironde, for priority patients, aiming to reduce waiting times.

Since September 21, pneumologists from the CHU de Bordeaux have been offering advanced consultations in Le Porge. Three sessions have already allowed 32 priority patients to be seen. The last consultation in this series is scheduled for October 27.
Faced with a waiting list of 62 residents referred by local health professionals, the ARS Nouvelle-Aquitaine, the Regional Council of the Order of Physicians, and the Association of Private Pneumologists of the Southwest launched a joint appeal to private practice pneumologists on October 20. In three days, three private practice pneumologists opened 23 additional consultation slots, between October 30 and November 19. Other professionals, particularly north of Bordeaux, have also declared their availability. The goal is for every patient to be seen before the Christmas holidays.
The « RenfortMed Le Porge » initiative, coordinated by the ARS, facilitates patient referrals and the transmission of useful medical information to doctors. The State and the ARS Nouvelle-Aquitaine thank the hospital and private practice pneumologists for their responsiveness and availability, as well as the Order of Physicians for its support.
Pneumologists wishing to join this initiative can express their interest by contacting renfortmed.leporge@sante-na.fr.
