A new public carpooling service, Lignes Covoit Modalis, has been operational since September, connecting drivers and passengers through a dedicated app and designated stops.

Since September, the municipality has introduced a new public carpooling service named Lignes Covoit Modalis. The aim is to connect drivers and passengers traveling to the same destination in real-time, using a dedicated application.
The system operates similarly to a bus line, featuring predefined routes and marked stops. The service is available without prior reservation, 7 days a week, from 6 AM to 9 PM. One of the main stops is located at the VINCI Autoroutes carpooling area on the A10.
The stops served include Saint-Vincent-de-Paul, Ambarès, Lormont (connecting to tram line A), Bordeaux Lac, Aliénor, and Ravezies (connecting to tram line C).
For passengers, simply go to the designated stop and indicate your destination in the app; the journey is completely free. Drivers receive an compensation of €2 for the first passenger and €1 for subsequent passengers.
Until November 30th, an additional bonus of €1 per offered trip (even without a passenger) is provided on weekdays during peak hours (6:30 AM-9 AM and 4 PM-7 PM), followed by €0.50 thereafter.
