After three successful editions in Biganos, the PAT Festival (Territorial Food Project) is coming to the Val de l'Eyre for a new festive and free day. The event will highlight local producers and food artisans from the area's municipalities, such as Salles, Lugos, Biganos, and La Teste-de-Buch.
The program for this event, held from 3 PM to 8 PM at the Place du Champ de Foire in Salles, includes a market of producers and artisans, fun activities organized by associations working for agriculture and food, and cooking workshops on syrup making and fermentation.
Visitors can also enjoy a family and interactive show, 'Les Contes à Graines,' by the Compagnie Les Haricots Volubiles at 4 PM. A 'Top Chef' style culinary animation is scheduled for 5 PM. La Popote des AMAP will offer the opportunity to eat on-site with dishes made from 100% local products, at a pay-what-you-want price.
This event is part of the Territorial Food Project (PAT) jointly led by the three intercommunalities of Pays Bassin d’Arcachon-Val de l’Eyre (COBAS, COBAN, Communauté de communes du Val de l’Eyre) and their 17 municipalities. The goal is to promote the relocation of agricultural sectors and encourage healthy, local, and quality food for the residents.
