A significant moment for the territory, representing a new step forward in realizing this major project, led by the Noblat Community of Communes alongside healthcare professionals. The ceremony took place around Alain Darbon, President of the Noblat Community of Communes, Mayor of Saint-Léonard-de-Noblat, and Regional Councilor of Nouvelle-Aquitaine, in the presence of Maurice Barate, Prefect of Haute-Vienne, Jean-Claude Leblois, President of the Departmental Council of Haute-Vienne, François Vincent, Regional Councilor of Nouvelle-Aquitaine, and Olivier Thenail, Director of the Departmental Delegation of ARS Nouvelle-Aquitaine, as well as numerous elected officials, institutional partners, and healthcare professionals.
A particularly moving tribute was also paid to Marc Laycuras, a military doctor who died on a mission in Mali in 2019, through speeches by Alain Darbon and his mother, Marie-Josée Laycuras. A moment of remembrance and recognition, in the presence of his family, which gave a very special dimension to this ceremony.
The future Health Center will accommodate 26 medical and paramedical professionals in facilities adapted to their practices, to foster their coordinated work and durably strengthen access to local healthcare. A project built together.
The Noblat Community of Communes warmly thanked all the elected officials, institutional representatives, healthcare professionals, partners, companies, and the mobilized teams for their presence and commitment to this project.
