Under ideal weather conditions, young and old enjoyed a festive, lively, and perfectly organized afternoon. The event saw such a turnout that parking had to be extended once again to the departmental road to access the farm.
One of the day's highlights was the live carving of an impressive pumpkin by Armand. This giant vegetable, which had participated in the giant vegetable competition in La Roche-sur-Yon, was transformed into a work of art before an enthusiastic audience.
In parallel, a giant pumpkin carving contest allowed several teams to unleash their imagination. The creations were then illuminated during the lantern lighting, before voting opened.
Children, some of whom were in costume, also enjoyed numerous activities: straw battles, XXL wooden games, exhibitions of gourds and lanterns, face painting, and workshops on seeds. The evening continued with music from the group Acoustic Softness.
