The municipality of Saint-Quentin-de-Baron mobilized for October Pink with two charity events that raised funds for the fight against breast cancer.

As every year, October Pink was a moment of awareness and solidarity for women affected by breast cancer. The association Les foulées de 5 en t’1 organized on Sunday, October 4th, the 5th edition of its Marche Rose (Pink Walk). This event, for the benefit of the association Lisa – L’Institut du Sein d’Aquitaine, saw the participation of 157 people over an 8 km course, under a bright sun. Upon arrival, the October Pink Village offered numerous activities. The event raised a total of €1500.
Furthermore, on Saturday, October 10th, the Gassiot gardens hosted the event On pose pour le Rose (We Pose for Pink), focused on well-being. The program included a photo session and workshops. All proceeds from this day are dedicated to funding research.
Local associations once again demonstrated great solidarity in Saint-Quentin-de-Baron.
