The Basque-Adour Mobility Union is launching a major casting call to find the future voices for the Txik Txak bus audio announcements. Open to adult residents who master French and Basque or Occitan-Gascon, this project aims to provide personalized announcements for all travelers.

The initiative, which aims to enhance the experience for thousands of daily travelers, is seeking local voices to record announcements in French, and in Basque or Occitan-Gascon. These announcements are essential for helping passengers, especially visually impaired individuals, navigate their journey.
To participate, individuals must be of legal age and proficient in French as well as one of the proposed regional languages. Candidates will need to choose a text from two options available in the regulations, record it in a quiet place using their phone, pausing between each section, and submit it before November 12, 2026, via the application form.
The recordings will be reviewed by a jury of experts, a member of the union's executive board, and a representative of the drivers. Selected individuals will then participate in paid recording sessions in the studio, under the conditions specified in the regulations.
